What Happened
Heavy snow has fallen in Paris, turning the city white and causing significant disruption to air travel. Over 140 flights have been cancelled as a result of severe winter weather, with affected passengers experiencing delays and rerouting. The wintry conditions are impacting several airports across the region.
Passengers planning to travel from or to Paris are advised to verify their flight status with the airline before heading to the airport.
Flight Disruption Details
A snowstorm has struck Paris and other parts of Europe, resulting in the cancellation of over 140 of flights. The heavy snowfall transformed the French capital and disrupted regular travel operations, with air passengers experiencing widespread delays and cancellations.
At least 100 flights have been canceled from Paris's Charles de Gaulle airport, with a further 40 departures from Paris Orly canceled. Many more flights are delayed. The cancellations are due to adverse weather, with snow making it unsafe for normal flight operations. As the wintery weather is predicted to continue, passengers are advised to check directly with their airline or airport for the most current information regarding their journeys.

What To Do If Your Flight Is Cancelled
If you're traveling to or from the European Union, here's what to do when your flight is unexpectedly scrubbed:
Gather evidence that your flight was delayed, canceled, or overbooked.
Get the airline to provide written confirmation of the disruption and the reason behind it.
Request an alternative flight to your destination — or a refund if you no longer wish to travel.
Make a note of the arrival time at your final destination.
Ask the airline to provide vouchers for meals and refreshments.
Avoid signing documents or accepting offers that may waive your passenger rights.
If an overnight stay is required, ask the airline to provide accommodation.
Save receipts for any additional expenses caused by the disruption.
